Mike was able to fix my Honda VTR very quickly and for a very reasonable price. He also had no problem helping me unload and load my bike. Highly recommend if your looking for a good mechanic

Mike the owner is one of the best mechanics going around. He's does everything from services, suspension including revalves, engines and electrical work. Honest great place to take your bikes for all repairs.

Just had my 300cc 2 stroke rebuilt by Mike as it was seized. I'm was very Happy with the work done and costing was quite reasonable also. I would not hesitate in recommending Startgate to others in need of repairs.

Great, honest, timely and amazing price.Quoted me $X over the phone which was already $150 cheaper than the cheapest other place i called (i called many). When i arrived he charged me $48 less than his original quote... Tell me where else do yiu find that? Normally it'll be an extra $100 than the original quote because of we found this and that" etc.Anyone asks me where to take their bike? Ill be saying here! 100%"

The one star is for the customer service Mike gave, can't comment on the work as it never went ahead. Called and discussed servicing my Honda, he didn't want to check the Valves as it's too big of a job for him time wise. I was still ok with that, got off the and checked my roster and texted booking the bike in in 9 days time on a date he was available from.Took the bike to him on said date and unloaded it and waited as he was late to open, he pulled up and ignored me as he made his way to the shop unlocking it. Eventually it was open and walked up to the counter with my keys.Short of it is he never booked the job in thinking it was never confirmed even though it's all on text. I get it mistakes happen, no big deal really. The kicker was never once apologized for the mix up and didn't want to work something out over the next few days, said I'll need to bring it back in a weeks time.Terrible customer service right from the (late) start. I wasn't in a hurry for the bike so could of easily left it there for a basic service when he had time, but his attitude made sure I went elsewhere. And glad I did, found a MC workshop south of the river who wants the work and are well respected win, win.

I Needed new suspension for my 22 Beta 480 race edition. Mikes knowledge on suspension is next Level he sorted out the gear I needed and squeezed me in his busy schedule to get me going for the weekend the bike is now dialled in mint for my weight and handles like it’s on rails nowStartgate has great service and a mass of knowledge for any issues I highly recommend them
